Favorite Holiday Films & TV

During the holidays, we’re all so inclined to watch some of our favorite holiday specials, including our own movie marathons. I don’t watch much TV to begin with, but I can watch movies all day! Some of my favorite films during the holidays are usually the cute, heartfelt ones with happy endings. But every once in a while, we all need a good melancholy movie to make us cry during these times. Netflix and Hulu are some of my favorite streaming services when it comes to watching movies and shows. Here is my list of essential have-to-watch holiday movies:

• A Charlie Brown Christmas

• The Nutcracker

• Love Actually

• It’s a Wonderful Life

• White Christmas

• The Polar Express

• Home Alone 1 & 2

• Eloisa at Christmastime

• Elf

• The Nightmare Before Christmas

• The Santa Clause

• The Muppet Christmas Carol

• The Holiday

• Miracle on 34th Street

• How The Grinch Stole Christmas

• Office Christmas Party

And in the not so classic holiday classics, here are some of my favorite movies to watch during the holidays:

• Meet Me in St. Louis

• Hello Dolly

• The Notebook

• Sleepless in Seattle

• You’ve Got Mail

• P.S I Love You

• The Great Gatsby

• Mary Poppins

• Wall-E

• The Aristocats

• Singin’ in the Rain

As far as shows are concerned, I always watch the Christmas episodes of The Office! Which happens to be my all time favorite show. Here is the guide of those episodes:

• Season 2: Christmas Party

• Season 3: A Benihana Christmas

• Season 5: Moroccan Christmas

• Season 6: Secret Santa
